The NEXT LEVEL VIDEO LESSONS
I now offer video lessons through the mail. Video length should be approximately 15 to 25 minutes in length and the view should be straight on to the player. The video can be of any quality that will allow me to see you playing, however, the audio quality should be clear and easy to understand so I can give you the best possible feedback.
I will design a custom plan to take you to the next level including multiple technique exercises to help your playing, recommended steps to practice and effective ways to achieve your playing goals. I will also provide you with live commentary on your tape via an mp3 file which you will receive through email.
Each video lesson is $45.00 plus $6.50 for shipping and handling.
Please include the following (in order) on every video lesson submission:
- Name and age
- Goals for the lesson (what you want to learn)
- Long Roll Breakdown (slow fast slow)
- two Height Exercise:

- Timing Exercise (played while tapping your foot or marking time (make sure I can see your feet!)
)
- Any 3 of the following rudiments played at your most comfortable tempo:
- Flam Taps
- Flam Accents
- Flam Paradiddles
- Inverted Flam Taps
- Tap Drags
- Tap 5’s
Please put rudiments in the following format (8 of each, leading with the right and the left):

Also include any etudes, exercises or music you would like feedback on.
